Macra Lace String Thong with Three Pearl Strap

The Macra lace does its usual work on the front. The back has another idea.

A seamless pouch in geometric Macra diamond lace — no center seam, the fabric formed directly around the body in one uninterrupted piece — sits at the front, held by two thin white strings running from hip to hip. The wave and diamond pattern is immediately transparent on the skin in white, the lace mapping what it contains without mediation. Clean, minimal, familiar so far.

Then the strings meet at the back — and three white pearls are placed on the strap, regularly spaced, descending towards the base. Not decorative in a distant sense — present at each point of contact between the strap and the body, a tactile detail that makes itself known in motion. The pearls are why this piece has a name.

Everything at the front speaks of the lace. Everything at the back speaks of these three pearls.
